We've always been candle people.
The kind who light one on a Tuesday for no particular reason. Who notice when a room feels different. Who keep buying them hoping the next one will still be there an hour in.
That was the problem. We'd bring home a candle that smelled incredible in the shop, light it, and get about twenty good minutes before it faded into hot wax and nothing. Or worse, the scent stayed, but it was sharp and synthetic, the kind that gives you a headache by hour two.
So we started paying attention to what was actually in them. Cheap wax that burns fast and hot. Dyes that do nothing but make the wax look like the label. Fragrance cut back to hit a price point.
We wanted the opposite: a candle built around what goes in it rather than what it costs to make. Soy wax instead of paraffin. No dyes at all. A scent chosen because it lasts, not because it's loud in the first five minutes.
NoirGlow launched in March 2025 with that as the whole brief.
What's In Them, And What Isn't
Every NoirGlow candle is 9 oz, hand-poured to order in the United States, and completely dye-free.
Poured when you order it. We don't keep finished candles sitting in a warehouse. Every order is poured by hand after it comes in, which is why we ask for 2 to 5 business days before it ships. It's slower than pulling a box off a shelf, and it means the candle that arrives at your door is one nobody made months ago and forgot about.
Soy wax. It burns cooler and slower than paraffin, so the scent releases gradually instead of all at once, and the candle lasts noticeably longer.
No dyes. Colored wax adds nothing to how a candle smells or burns. It's purely cosmetic, so we leave it out. Ours are the natural color of soy wax, and that's on purpose.
The Scents
Eight signature scents across four seasonal collections: Spring, Summer, Fall, and Winter. Coconut Cardamom + Cream for the ones who want warmth without sweet. Ocean Water when the house needs air in it. Christmas Warmth for the six weeks a year it earns its place.
Where We Are
NoirGlow is a small independent brand based in Florida. There's no call center and no marketing department, just a short list of candles we'd light ourselves.
